Hello to all of our CORR members and meeting participants! As I think about my last ten years as President of CORR’s Board of Directors, I’m especially touched by the people whose lives have been changed by CORR.
CORR has provided a safe place where those who have caused sexual harm can discover ongoing support for their lives after their offensive behavior and after treatment. CORR is a place where they come together to discuss their past, navigate their present, and explore what they can do to honorably contribute to the future. Through their commitment to do no harm, CORR helps them to integrate with their families and victims, to offer amends where possible, and to support prevention. With CORR’s help, they too can help to make our communities safer.
As I observe the lives that have been changed, I see the value of keeping CORR alive and active. This is important work that we do. Our other groups: victim, family, and community, are raising awareness while providing healing. We will continue to offer our services, free of cost, to those who have caused sexual harm, and to their families, their victims, as well as the community at large.
But we need donations. Please share the goodness of the CORR organization with your friends and families so that they too may donate. Let’s make the next ten years as fruitful as the last.
