There are wonderful opportunities this year for us to share the inspiring message of CORR with a larger audience. Last year, we participated in three events that were very successful. We are currently registered to participate in two of these events again this year. On July 26th, we will have our CORR informational booth at the Unity in Community event in Richmond. This is their annual Community Health and Resource Fair. Then on August 9th, we will be in Oakland at the Annual Health Fair located at the Allen Temple Baptist Church on International Drive. The third event, if we are selected, is the Solano Stroll in Albany.
I’m proud to announce that with the help of our marketing committee, we have a new banner, posters, and flyers to share. I would like to invite anyone who has had a positive experience with CORR to consider joining us in spreading the CORR mission. To provide recovery resources for sexual assault survivors, perpetrators, the families of both, and the greater community. If you would like to volunteer to work at our booth, please contact Rick Chew at 925-267-8877. Otherwise, please feel free to join us along with your family and friends to share in CORR’s success.
